I have two Titan X (Pascal) in SLI. SLI is annoying but it’s necessary when using 4K 144Hz.

I would be fine with using a single 1180Ti though as SLI is a headache and a waste of money, even with some AAA games.

Why buy the Titan when you could pay half less for a 1180Ti?

That’s one thing I’ll never do again. I bought three of the OG Titans and two of the 2016 titans but after realizing I spent 2x as much for the same performance, I’m not doing that again. I love my money too much.

Sure, you can have the same performance by waiting 6+ months. I usually want to play with new toys asap ^^

Depends of course. If the 1180 can sport at least a 20% lead to my Titan X Pascal at 2000 MHZ then I will go for it right away and buy the new GTX Titan when released too (got 3 PCs in use). If the new 1180 is only marginally quicker then I will skip and wait.

I really hope they can show huge performance gains. I am desperate for more power. 4k 144hz and especially VR begs for way more power.

Knowing myself I will buy the 1180 anyways day 1 just because I am curious on how it performs what it can do and how it overclocks. I just enjoy fiddling around with it... may be more than actuallyl game on it to be honest...

Also I really got tired of my Titan X which I bought August 2nd 2016 so 2 years ago...

Nope. Zero plans to upgrade here, none of my games are struggling with 2 Titan Xp's @ 2GHz core, 12GHz mem. Higher priorities right now than buying new video card(s).

Has anyone manage to make a volt mod or something like that. I have done the shunt mod and Liquid metal on the gpu. Wont pas 37ºC full load, ambient temps at 21ºC. On hot days (normally here) 47ºC full load at 32ºC ambient temp. Core clock @2088(2063 GP boost hits) memory clock @11.8 ghz. I think I still have room for more overclocking but I need more volts or a stable no moving around voltage. Any suggestions? What can i do?. Thanks in advance.

Help. Full Titan X Pascal VBIOS Image needed...

I managed to completely erase the VBOIS of a Titan X Pascal I'm trying to fix.

I re-flashed it with an image from techpowerup, but the card still won't POST. Gives error 62. I noticed that the EEPROM on the card is 512kb but the image from techpowerup is 256Kb.

Looking at the the images from other Pascal based cards I have, the second half of the VBIOS isn't always blank. I'm hoping there is something there that will make the card work again.

It would be fantastic if someone could use nvflash(or an external EEPROM programmer) to dump the full 512Kb VBIOS image of their card and send it to me.

Thanks.
