Okay so with the 1080 version it limits its curve in software so after i adjusted the voltage curve in Afterburner i got 2151/11116 at 1080mv

Firestrike: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/15176112

Before i couldnt adjust voltage it was only OC'ing too 2088/11116

And this was achieved using a normal Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! card flashed with the AMP! Extreme BIOS file correct?

Here is a link from Hilbert Haagendoorn from Guru3D.com He explains on how to use the curve.

FWIW, I'm successfully using the strix OC bios found in This Post.

With it i can use MSI AB and create a curve that puts up to 1.2V to the core.

Power Limit and Temp Limit are disabled so you will need to be careful using it.

You will want to set a high fixed fan speed or an improved fan curve before you test it.

You will also need to reboot your computer after you flash the bios. It took me awhile to figure that one out.

The Freq vs Volt curve should be tweaked as well since it will pump 1.2V without changing it.

I've already improved my OC by +40 over what i had before and there is still room for more i think.

Interesting, so that means that normal "AMP!" card owners could flash this BIOS as well, although this BIOS was meant to be used on watercooled cards or cards with really large air-coolers, so I would personally not recommend that any normal "AMP!" owners flash this BIOS to their card as the stock cooling just won't cut it unfortunately. But this is good news! Thanks for posting this!
