But yeah the strix bios did not work for me. Power limit was only at 100% even thou i had 120 set in AB and precision x. Also every time i changed memory clock's my screen would flash black.

Some peeps having trouble with Strix BIOS.
Download the original NVidia
BIOS, try flashing back, or if you're really brave try the MSI Gaming X BIOS.
Then try OCing the card.
Right click the zip file, 'Properties', 'Unblock' it.

So, with this BIOS, is it still worth doing the shunt mod? I'll be under water, 2 x 1080ti.. mix of gaming and gpu rendering/3d work.
Also I can't for the life of me get the voltage bar to unlock in Afterburner, tried your methods from the other thread, it's still greyed out.

Can you please show you voltage curve.
What ever I try my Gigabyte 1080Ti is start to freez in Heaven Benchmark if core clock is over 2062...

Did you try if flashing Gigabyte Extreme Gaming bios with 375W TDP limit? That would be even much more interesting than Strix's 330W TDP BIOS.
