YOu think I need to buy a new case or just buy multiple fans. I don't know how much better a new case can be compared to the one I have now. Do you have recommendations?

I'd try buying more fans (higher rpm) first. You may not need a new case, unless your current one has horrible airflow with the new fans installed.

Yeah it just has 2 fans as opposed to the maximum of 6. It will run me 50 bucks to get 6 fans to slot and replace the 2 fans it came with.

Btw you think that 520 for a 1080 ti SC is a good deal now or to wait?

If you absolutely need the card now, then yes, otherwise you can get similar Ti performance (educated guess) from the 1160 for a lot less if you wait a bit. The new cards are rumored to be announced late next month @ gamescon.

Its impossible to say anything about how much cheaper it will get, but the SC version is one of the better coolers. And like @Renegade5399 , you can get aftermarket blowers or watercoolers for it later if you wanna drop more temps.

I ended up canceling the order. I wanted it very bad but I need to do some planning and prep for my move from Texas to California and the 1080 Ti wouldn't get much use before then. No need in buying now. Especially when buying it now would distract me from my goals before then.
