Hi I have this same card, if you can blind flash it back just flash the EVGA one, to be honest I only overclocked my card to get the highest rtx 2070s 3dmark, my card running stock and running my max overclock there is about 5-6fps difference, it will give you little difference in games also maybe 10fps, I've not tried the shunt mod, not sure it would help my card overclock more, at 2220mhz it's on the limit..

Screenshot of my stock and max overclock..

Hello. I am a new PC Owner and I'm getting very poor results when overclocking my 2070 Super FTW3. In TimeSpy and Firestrike, I'm able to pass with a core clock of +100 and a memory clock of +800. However, when I boot up a game, it crashes almost immediately. I tried with conservative values of +50 and +250 and it still crashes every time. I will say, the games this happened in were all DX12 Ray Tracing games. In modern warfare, rtx was off. Still crashed immediately. In metro exodus with dlss and rtx on high, it crashes within a minute of loading into the game. In control, same thing. Again, this is with a conservative value of +50 CC and +250 memory. Voltage left at 0, and I also tried putting it at 10, 15, 20, and 30%.

My temps were only at 62C max since the ftw3 has a hefty cooler. Card was only at around 2025-2045 MHz.

I tried the precision x1 vf scanner and got a score of 9 (all settings default with temp and power limit maxed). Did I just get a bad card? This card was supposedly made for overclocking so I'm a little disappointed.

My build is a ryzen 3600x, 16gb of ddr4-3600 ram, and a 550w Seasonic Gold power supply. The power supply is one thing I'm worried could be causing it since it's a little low. Power draw of the gpu is reading at around 250-300W in Precision X1. My computer hasn't locked up or anything though, just that I get kicked to the desktop.

I've been on the latest official Nvidia drivers since early December when I built it. Haven't changed the cards bios at all.

I would start fresh with the drivers. Use DDU and do a clean install. Go from there. You can load up HWiNFO64 and it should show you the main rail voltages for your PSU. Check the 12v/5v/3.3v and see if they are within spec.

I'm not sure what your total system power draw is...but I would think 550w should be OK with just the 3600X in there, I guess it would depend on how and efficient it might be.

It's a start....

I've been on the latest drivers for about a week....no issues. No issues with at least Metro Exodus with RTX enabled. BFV too.

I reinstalled drivers and metro exodus is still crashing with +60 core clock and +0 memory. Modern Warfare actually seems to be working now with +100 core clock and +200 memory (haven't tried any higher).

Rtx is off in MW, and on in metro so maybe that's why?

I've tried to figure out what exactly is happening when it crashes but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. In MW I'm hitting 2055Mhz no problem, but that same number crashes in metro.

Which version of Metro Exodus are you running? The one from Epic Games or the Windows Store?

With a 3600x and a 2070S, there's no way you're using more than 500w, so I doubt it's the PSU (unless it's starting to fail and your previous card was not powerful enough to push it to its limit). It could also also be a manual OC on the CPU if you have one dialed in, which could handle a worse graphics card and not the new one.

If none of your components is failing, just reinstall your OS if you haven't already. It's rarely the culprit, but rarely is not never.

Windows. It's the gamepass version.
