eermm that should be 2080,atleast 2080ti performed regardless of its high price. Where 2080 barely performed.

Now with the RTX 2080 officially out in stores, I would like to remind you to check the original post of this thread if you're looking to buy one, as I have gathered information on every model currently out with some important information, such as the amount of fans, boost clock speed, how many slots it requires, links and more.

If you're looking for the RTX 2080 Ti see this thread.

I bought the gigabyte windforce and unfortunately the power max is 110%... i see evga just released a bios update for their cards bumping theirs up to 130%. I tried using their exe flash file on my card (risky I know) but it didn't work. They must of ensured to put model mismatch checking in the exe. Anyone know how to flash these cards manually yet?

I have the EVGA 2080 XC Ultra card with the 130% power limit vBIOS and it really helped quite a bit actually. It isn't a normal .rom to flash but rather an exe that does all of the work. Using GPU-Z I couldn't even save my old or original vBIOS before the flash. I also tried Nvflash but that was a no go as well. Seems these cards are totally locked down. I do have a hardware programmer that I could have used, but meh I don't need the old vBIOS.

Edit:

Dude you need to crank the memory up. I can get +1250Mhz on my memory. +1000Mhz alone gains me around 7fps in most games. +1300Mhz I hit a wall and crash. I am running +140Mhz on the core which shows around 2130Mhz under load.

awesome! thanks. Yeah I noticed in the evga exe file that their nvflash is a newer version which I couldn't find anywhere. If anyone knows how to extract the vbios and nvflash from their exe file I will love you forever. Or if you can figure out how to modify the exe to force the flash I guess that would work as well.

I hit a 7522 score in Superposistion 1080p Extreme with a RTX 2080 FE on air. Max P/T/V slider, max fan settings, +190 core, +1300 memory(!). 2115 Mhz core, 8299 Mhz memory, max temp was 59 C.

https://benchmark.unigine.com/result...de8cc136438777

Got bumped to 24 on the leaderboards by someone with a 2080 Ti. I guess that extra $400 works after all.

My second RTX 2080 isn't as good. It will run at 2100 Mhz, but has more heat and gets throttled back to 2085 Mhz. Artifacts above +1100 memory.

The water blocks arrive Monday, so when I get everything into the new case and get the loop going I'll retest.

Hey guys, I picked up a Zotac 2080 Amp edition on launch day and its a really solid card but it is super loud with the triple fan setup. I tried messing around in firestorm/afterburner and I can't seem to get it to run any quieter. Even when it's idle its running super loud..

Am i missing something?

Thanks..
