I think i'm about to accidentally be a 2080 owner. I sent my 1080 ti back to MSI for repair and they offered to send their Gaming X Trio 2080 back instead.

Unigine heaven because techpowerup has a OC benchmark chart for it.
The extreme benchmark is a preset, so im getting 200FPS vs 185fps on techpowerup...

Now did they say a 2080 or 2080 super? I realize you are posting in super forum but you got to be specific

The OP says "2080 / Super" so I think this is for both? There's no mention of "super" in the email so I assume it's not.

They just sent me tracking, so I guess I'll know on monday.

Whats a good overclock for the RTX 2080?

I have the MSI RTX 2080 SeakHawk EK X and running 2085mhz core / 8000mhz memory happily max temp 52c

The weird thing is maximum on MSI afterburner for memory is +1500 which = 8500mhz core. It crashes if I do that. Max before it crashes is around 8200mhz. This card only has a power limit of 109 😬

Hi guys I just got an AORUS 2080 SUPER and I've noticed pretty high load temps at stock settings. After 10 mins of Heaven benchmark it sits around 80c. I have 3 front intake fans and a single rear exhaust fan, also the radiator for my Corsair H100i is front mounted because it wouldn't fit at the top of my case.

Is this just a hot card or may there be an airflow problem, should I get addition exhaust fans to mount at the top vents?.

Thanks.

Edit: I found two old fans and installed them on the top as exhausts and the GPU dropped 5c so I guess it was just a build up of hot air in the case due to not enough exhaust fans. Since nobody replied I'll just thank myself. Thanks me!.

I just picked up an MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio and I'm extremely impressed with it. I struggled a lot with noise and heat on my Powercolor Red Devil Vega 56 but this RTX 2080 runs 15c cooler while being silent - and I haven't even messed with the fan profiles yet.

Anyone ever have issues with Nvidia driver updates screwing with GPU overclocks? My memory is 7500 at default, and I have a +1300 offset for 8800. Last two times I've updated drivers, the memory drops to 7750, even though I still have my OC profile loaded. If I reapply the +1300 profile it sets memory to 9050. Basically it seems that the default memory changes to 7750 for some reason. Restarting my computer seems to fix it. Not a big deal but kind of annoying. Maybe I should try DDU...

EDIT: Just realized that my stock memory should be 15500 MHz, which should be 7750 in AB. So why is it defaulting to 7500...
