I can't decide if I want to replay metro exodus to try out RTX, or if I should just buy control now.

Well, Control looks to be the ideal game to showcase RT.

Can anyone run Assetto Corsa 4k benchmark? Everthing maxed except no blur. I play racing sims only Assetto has a build in benchmark. Game is hard on cpu and gpu. Want to see how Super compares to my 1080 TI.

As promised here's my 2080 Super FTW3 HC and 2 hours of Destiny 2 max stable OC. Other games like Tomb Raider and BF4 need to be backed down to +105 core since they're finicky.

So... I realize that this is really dumb, but I wanted to test out my new 2080 against the 1080 in this rig without draining the loop.

Yeah, they're a bit higher than normal. For whatever reason Destiny 2 handles overclocking just as well as synthetic benchmarks.
My normal OC is +105/+1500, some games can handle a bit more but I'm too lazy to create a dozen profiles.

The only thing I'm struggling with currently is getting the card stable while using RTX (Tomb Raider & Control) +105 is fine until RTX is turned on, at which point I need to bring it down to ~+50 to keep it stable.

Nah, if it works, it works. If I could have squeezed my 1080 in my rig at the same time I would have done the same exact thing. lol
I did a few benchmarks before swapping cards and picked up around 30-40 FPS in most games.

I have 3x Aorus AD27QD (120Hz) and a Dell 2913U attached (60Hz) attached to my 2080 Super, and am having issues with idling.
The Idle CPU clock is about 1665Mhz and the Idle Power 57.8W. Now it is driving 4 monitors, but it is not doing anything, I've left it even blank those monitors with no change.

Is this normal, I was expecting idle closer to 15-18W when it was sitting at the desktop and speeds far lower. It is as if it is stuck in a 3d mode when it is displaying 2D graphics.

As for OC, I seem fine at:
+90 Core and +1000 memory playing Control with RTX on (without RTX, I can go a bit higher), but am using control with Ray Tracing set to High, in order to stress it.

Thanks,
ERIC

Same, with 3 monitors.
It was supposed to have a 300mhz idle multi monitor mode...but no.
