You guys have some really good superposition scores. Not sure what I am doing wrong with my setup.
2160/8000 I only get a 8k Optimized score of 5872
This is with an [email protected]
Have the normal Nvidia Control panel settings like texture filtering quality set to performance.

There a secret to Superposition or Am I just not setting something up right.

Not when they are tweaks simply to jack the score of a synthetic benchmark and usually end up with worse real world performance.

Well, what I posted was with the GPU at 2205/82xx (compared to yours above)... Re. your 8700K/5.1, CPU speed matters a bit but not that much with 4K and 8k benches. But GPU temp control matters a great deal - with only one of two cards used, that single card has a total of 1080x55 rad space to itself in my setup... To be able to run 2205, ambient temp has to be 17c or so. My typical single-GPU speed is 2190 for 'everything' and with a typical 21c or so ambient, all on stock GPU Bios. With two cards pulling about 380w each already plus an oc'ed TR, my 1300w PSU does not have enough headroom left, otherwise I would try one of the XOC bios - I am sure I would gain a decent amount re. PL.

The real issue with tweaks is if people compare 'apples and oranges'. There are indeed a myriad of tweaks such as LOD Bias (especially if you have the right unofficial NVInspector folks over at HWBot use - and where those kind of tweaks are allowed). In general, Unigine does not have the same type of system check apps 3DM has to validate, even though a new tweak will take an update by 3DM system check app to catch it (regarding accepting 3DM submission for HoF etc via the 'valid score' tag). I use 4K and especially 8K Superposition to give the 11GB of VRAM a real standardized test and workout. I always loved Unigine's graphics (not only Superposition but Valley and Heaven 4)

Yea, I just see the leaderboards filled with scores higher than mine with much lower GPU clocks and it makes me wonder. Other than pushing to 2220mhz the other day I have not done much more testing as I am still waiting for the Waterblock to show up for the card. I do not expect much better temps but I will be dedicating either a 480 and a thick 360 radiator or 2 480's strictly for just the GPU.

Right now I am still testing to see how far I can go at just 1 volt. Was messing around today and it seems I got a great Core but the Memory is not the best. I see slight artifacts at +1200 and Driver crashes at 1250, even bumped up the memory voltage a little bit with no luck so maybe once the full cover block is on the card and the memory temps get a little better we will see but it's doubtful.

I'm running all my tests with 8700k clocked at 5.1Ghz.
My 2080ti isn't even a good bin, I'm getting max 2080Mhz for split second then stable 2055Mhz for the rest of the test, the longer the test takes the lower it clocks thrugh the run.

My GPU Bin isn't top notch but my memory chips really are (in my opinion).
I'm constantly able to clock my VRAM much higher than vast majority of people here, without having any passive cooling on Memory Die as for now
My AIO Cooling on GPU is still a "work in progress"

My current BIOS - KFA2 380W.

He asked about score, so I guess hes a bit interested in benching and for proper benching u need these tweaks.

Problem is mem oc on 2080Ti isnt crucial, its hard to bin 2080ti for core. Thats why u want top bin cards like HOF, KP or Lightning.

is it true that the FE cards have higher chances of getting the same quality die as the top bin from AIB? since nvidia has the first dibs in binning for FE before the cores are sent out to customers who buy them

He was asking if something was wrong with his rig. Cheats and renamed tweaks does not a performer make. For proper benching you need proper hardware set up correctly for the performance you paid for, not a number for HwBot. Not like they pay out.....
