Phanteks block RGB wiring exits at the right rear corner when viewed as installed so its right into the wire management chases of pretty much any case. Cant even see mine regardless of the angle.

Which BTW EK is now taking preorders for the Strix blocks to start shipping 2/25/19. Ive got Phanteks blocks which are performing great so I wont be going that route. The only EK stuff I have left in my system are the rads and M2 heatsink. Ill reconsider on whether to stay with Phanteks or not when Watercool releases their blocks and if they have significant performance advantage. Id like to go vertical with both cards but cant source a 2 slot Nvlink bridge. From what I gather the Quardro RTX 6000 bridge should work, but sold out and staying that way. I have miners!!!
Just ordered mine from here: https://www.sharbor.com/nvlink-hb-2-...-rtx-8000.html

Guys please i need help with my Asus Strix 2080 Ti Advanced Gaming. My Quit - bios mode dont work as it should. Fans runs 28% 1000rmp in idle, they never go to 0 rmp.
I have flashed my card before with galaxy 380w. that didnt gave me performance. it even decreased my performance some how.

I tried to flash back my card with original bios that i saved before. I flashed both the performance bios and quit bios. Same problem still. The q-bios fans runs exactly like p-bios switch (I also tried original bios from Strix OC version)

Please guys do you know how i can fix this?

And do you know if both bios switches have different bios version? Because i never checked this before i was flashing my card and messing with it.
So i dont know if q-bios switch had different bios version. If so i need to get that version some how

I got a poor Windforce (non oc) 2080 Ti with 109% that clocks pretty good in itself, but clearly limited with its bios.
As far as I know you can't since I wanted this as well, FAQ clearly states that non-A chips don't allow bios from A chips. If you find a way though plz share

anybody here own the EVGA black 2080 Ti aka the cheapest 2080 TI?
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16814487418

What is your experience been like. Not loooking to OC tbh. Just need something that can run my games at 45 to 60 fps at 4K. I was actually looking at getting a 1080 Ti but the prices have been getting higher that spending 500 more for the "cheap" 2080 Ti is something I am considering

re. Bios, what is strange is that both my Aorus 2080 TIs are within 2 (!) sequential numbers on the serial number - yet one has a slightly different Bios version # (though same release day) than the other according to GPUz . Yet both cards clock within 20-30 MHz of each other on GPU (#1 > #2) while on VRAM, GPU#2 is a bit faster than GPU#1...all the same, before I flash the Galax 380w Bios, I'll flash the stock Aorus Bios from GPU #1 onto GPU #2 and see what is what

I haven't had much time to really delve into gaming yet with this RTX SLI or any other setup for that matter for some time, but 'back in the day', I used to use various NVidia Inspector 'master SLI profiles' on a trial and error basis even for quad-SLI (often, the 3D Mark SLI profiles worked reasonably well on games they were not designed for & sometimes I got lucky). With RTX being still very new for developers, it may not be that easy this time around (yet), but I'm encouraged that the 'Unreal' game engine just added ray tracing. Hope springs eternal...

BTW, what is a good gaming mouse for $100 or less ? We just use the typical Microsoft and Logitech wired USB mice en masse in the office and the home setup.
You can always try the old metro profiles with AFR. Rocking the logitech G502, no regrets.

So your problem is that fans spin in idle? Did you can alter the fancurve in your oc software? Can set it so that it ramps up with desired temp.

Even though the time for exchange went out a long time ago, my dealer offered me an exchange to a Inno3D black with AIO which i believe is a "A" chip. Hexus gave it a splendid review. Man, Gigabyte have really messed up their 2080 lineup this time. The fan issue is on all cards and new bios doesn't seem to help. They are also extremely conservative with their windforce bios, at least on the Ti. Their support on the issue is non-existent as well.

I do not recommend Gigabyte this generation.
