this guide is well done:

https://www.overclockersclub.com/gui...lash_rtx_bios/

If you received the bios directly from MSI i remind you to rename it as .rom

Please, for those who are using Kingpin XOC Bios, is there any way to lock the voltage? AB curve editor is disabled so I wonder if there is another option to do it...
Thanks

What's biggest manipulation of NVIDIA or AMD you can remember.
For me is overclocking RTX Founders Edition to avoid humiliation if NVIDIA show up with RTX2080 and RTX2080Ti with same clocks as they give to partners.
ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE offer RTX2080 and RTX2080Ti with 100MHz lower clock then NVIDIA Founders Edition. Off course they had custom models. But reference RTX2080 and RTX2080Ti were 100MHz slower then FE.
That 100MHz was only way to NVIDIA beat GTX1080Ti Founders Edition with RTX2080 Founders Edition and to avoid 19% improvement from GTX1080Ti FE to RTX2080 FE and half of people didn't even figure out what they done. For them is RTX 2080 naturally faster then GTX1080Ti and measured with FE models except FE and faster were slower then GTX1080Ti FE.
Nice move.

Situation was like this... few weeks before launch date somewhere in NVIDIA Company...
OK what we have? We have obviously, that mean, obviously in every situation slower RTX2080 then GTX1080Ti, no any way to manipulate with scores, fps, drivers...it's 5-10% slower card depend of benchmark test and game... and somewhere around 20% faster RTX2080Ti.
What could we done?
Only choice is overclocking reference models... But good percent of cards will not work just like that 100MHz faster?
No, we will not OC all of them, vendors will get original reference clock, slower then GTX1080Ti FE, but we will choose significant number of nice chips and overclocked them 100MHz and sell them for 100$ more, vendors will not get such card, we need off course to replace cooler, turbine from GTX780Ti FE, GTX980 FE, GTX1080 FE can't serve any more, we need dual cooler. We will advertise FE clocks and compare them with previous generation. But partners will get slower clock.
Reviews need to help and test FE 100MHz higher boost then cheapest reference models partners get but people used that FE is reference cards and they will naturally think if Turing FE is faster then Pascal FE that mean every Turing is faster.

Hi there

2145MHz on air is pretty good result without the question, this 2145MHz frequency stays during the benchmark or during the game or does drop to lower frequency?

Here is my result in Unigine Superposition with 2145MHz OC and 5960X running at 4.6GHz I think

My old Zotac RTX 2080Ti AMP would do 13382 with 2100MHz and +1100MHz on VRAM

Hope this helps

Greetings Members,

is a mild overclock worth it for the extra frames in general for this card? Playing @ 4K. Thanks.

I think it is... I use the 380w GALAX BIOS and usually game at a +120 core OC. For gaming I don't think it's worth it to max out your OC.

CPU: intel Core i9 9900K - 5 GHz all core HT on - 1.26v - Air cooled
MOBO: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
GPU: MSI Duke OC RTX 2080 Ti - 380w PL BIOS
RAM: G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3200 CL14 @ 3600 CL15 (Samsung B-die)
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 NVMe
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3
CASE: "Open bench" - Stripped down Tt Core X9

Do you think that I should upgrade to a 144Hz panel to reduce image blur?
Is blur so better with higher refresh rate monitors?
bump question

I benched Gears 5 with 2100Mhz and 2175Mhz at 1440p. its like 1 fps. 115 vs 116.
