Maybe I was a bit mis-leading there.
I am getting around 115fps in the Crysis 3 Jungle level at 4K, but my 4K display is only 60Hz.

There are plenty of 27-28 inch GSYNC 144Hz 4K displays but I'm looking for a 32 inch GSYNC 144Hz 4K display.
I am specifically waiting for a 32 inch version of https://uk-store.acer.com/predator-x...ator-x27-black
As this video
shows that Linus is testing with a 32 inch GSYNC 144Hz 4K display so they DO EXIST!!!
Plus why did they lend Linus 32 inch display? Why didn't they lend him a 27 inch display for testing?

Now I could go bigger with one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Predat...mputers&sr=1-4
And I have checked it out but its more like a TV than a monitor as it needs to be at least 3+ feet away from your eyes.

I will be upgrading, but I cannot at this time say when

I love my 32" for a desk setup where it's literally an arm's length away from me. I wouldn't go any smaller or bigger for this distance.

The review for the ASUS version of that monitor/panel on TFTcentral was not impressive.

considering the history of the nvidia releases, is there a card that lived two years?
do you think that 2080Ti can live 2 years?

those days are long gone. it used to be the most expensive gaming card was nvidia's best model, 8800 GTX for instance. the card lasted two generations, especially in SLI. once we started to see a $500-650 being released with only a 256-bit bus followed by the Ti 384-bit bus variant, it was game over. i guess the pascal series is still kicking ass.

So is it reasonable that we will see the 3080ti this Christmas?
