RTX Titan or 2080 TI from Titan X (Pascal)?

Hey OCN,

Any announcement yet on when we might see a Turing / RTX version of the Titan? I did read the other speculative thread on Turing Titan already but also wanted to propose the upgrade question. I've had Titan cards for years and have enjoyed their performance. After seeing nothing really new with the Titan X for three years or so I'm wondering if it's time to upgrade since an overclocked 2080TI (looking at EVGA's cards) can still significantly out-perform a standard Nvidia Titan X Pascal (not Xp), I'm tempted to just get the 2080TI and be done. But I feel the moment I do there'll be a Titan version. $1,300 is in the budget, but $3K+ is not. Plan is to re-block whichever card I purchase and put it into my custom loop so thermals or power should present little issue.

Planned uses are high res photo editing for weddings, 4K video work, rendering, and GPU based architectural rendering potentially and to of course get higher 4K max FPS settings in gaming so there's plenty of tasks I can put the card's use to, even if it's not 100% all the time.
