Depends on how much they cost in your region.

I got a 2060 instead of the 2060 Super b/c the 2060 was ~$306 with tax, but the cheapest 2060 Super was about $430 with tax.

I would say if the 2060S is around 50-70 more than the 2060 it is worth it.

I'll be buying from the US anyway. Where did you get a 2060 for $306? Or was it just sale at that time?

It's just that if I buy an AIB 2060, the price difference between that and an FE 2060S becomes smaller and smaller.

Newegg had it for 289.99, plus a code for -10. With tax that's ~307, not including the $20 MIR. The EVGA single fan goes for 289.99 on Amazon and Newegg often. From what I heard in the EVGA forums this will become the norm in Sept after all of the 2060S and 2070S go down to MSRP.

If you don't like the cheap single fan 2060's, I would just get the FE 2060S if it's that close. I'm not sure if any of the fancier 2060's will come down in price and it's probably not worth it to wait if you are getting a 2060S anyways.

Also why get the FE? I would just get this for the same price: https://www.evga.com/products/produc...08G-P4-3067-KR

I believe TPU reviewed this 2060S from EVGA and it had slightly lower temps than the FE. Plus you get EVGA support and the step up opportunity.

You mean this: https://camelcamelcamel.com/EVGA-GeF...context=search , right? Looks like they were at $299.99 on Amazon just for a few days. I won't be able to buy from Newegg since they suck and don't accept international credit cards so I'm left with Amazon. And with Amazon I can file a tax refund so I'd prefer Amazon.

Oh, I didn't know there were AIB 2060S cards that have the same prices as the FE's. If that's the case, then I'm all for EVGA but more for the warranty and not for the step-up (because shipping will kill me in case I need to upgrade within 3 months).

Yep that one. For some reason it doesn't show the deals that happened few weeks ago:
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsal..._28999_amazon/
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsal..._30_for_prime/

Unfortunately most 2060 Supers are at least $10 more than the FE anywhere else than the EVGA store, which does not ship to the Philippines. This one is only $10 more which I think would be worth it over the FE https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-...07VM9Q9R8?th=1

Also, why not consider the 5700 or 5700 XT?

Argh, I missed those deals. But it looks like the single fans are >2 slots cards and those won't fit in my ITX case as I'm limited to dual-slot cards only.

Yeah, I figured they're $10 more now but that specific card was $399.99 last week.

I was considering the 5700XT but since this build will be used for rendering, I pretty much need the CUDA cores which means Nvidia.

To all single fan EVGA 2060 owners, I've discovered that the mounting pressure between the heatsink and the die is uneven causing unreasonably high temperatures. Take a look at this thread: https://forums.evga.com/Single-Fan-R...-m2985784.aspx

To fix this I used a less viscous paste and applied it in a T form. One vertical line plus a horizontal line near where the mounting pressure is lacking.

I'm not sure if this applies to all cards of this variant or if it was just me. If someone who has this card is reading this, would you be able to verify that it happens on yours as well?

Hi !

I've just bought a PNY RTX 2060 Super Dual Fan : http://www.pny.eu/fr/consumer/explor...super-dual-fan

But I'm limited with the power limiter at 100%, the gpu clock moving from 1895 to 2055 mhz set at +160 mhz, I'd like to fix the clock at +2000 mhz constant.

I want to crossflash the bios with the PNY 2060 Super XLR8 which is oc'ed but I don't find the bios
I think the pcb is pretty similar so the compatibility should be good : http://www.pny.eu/en/consumer/explor...ng-overclocked

Or maybe I could use this bios : https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/...er-8192-190625
Even just +14% is better than 0%. If someone read this and have a PNY 2060 Super XLR8, feel free to send me your bios. Thank you

Posting this here as well, but is anyone else with a 2060(S) getting artifacting/graphical glitches in (seemingly only) Apex Legends? My friend's 2060 super seems to run fine in everything else I've played (a bit of Metro 2033 and benching in Heaven (looped for ~1 hr); will probably loop Time Spy or something later today), but I have issues in Apex similar to this video:
(though nowhere as bad; only the 'servers' have some artifacting, no flash-lighting like those big pink splotches). I do also get some weird black screens, but nothing about them is consistent (I don't have issues in every round and usually not in the same spot). Just wondering if this is an Apex issue (which I have many of [even with my other cards]) or an RTX issue.

Are you using the latest drivers? I have not experienced this.
