how to enable freesync compatible gsync mode?

Hey guys,

I have a Samsung CHG90 ultrawide 49" monitor and I know it's not a "validated" monitor... I want to see for myself if it's acceptable to me. I downloaded the newest driver today but I'm not sure where to enable gysnc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

It's easy. Open Nvidia control panel. In Manage 3d settings select G-Sync compatible for monitor technology and select fast for V-sync, then you need to go to set up G-Sync in display settings and just check the boxes and apply.

Had to enable the freesync on the monitor. It wasn't showing up until I did that

Ultra freesync (or ultimate I can't remember now) gave me flickers in some games (mass effect for one) the standard freesync 2 works perfect.

the ultimate one does lower refresh rates
