Core vs VRAM OC of RTX cards ?

I just found OC scanner and I'll try it when I'm not as lazy. On my zotax rtx 2070 amp-extreme-core, the VRAM is always 7200MHz. And isn't it the VRAM that's been failing and doing space-invaders on rtx 2080/ti cards ? So I don't want to touch the vram really anyways.

Just wondering how much difference there is between OC's in games if u don't change VRAM clocks ?

What amount of vram OC's are considered good/bad on these anyways ?

OC Scanner only checks the core, it doesn't do anything with memory.

On my Titans they seem fine with 8200 (+1200 offset) on the memory. When I was benchmarking the big rig outside I found the highest scores between +1272 and +1330
