Same. Broke it on my brand new motherboard. EXCEPT!

I did not ******* touch the thing. It just fell off randomly one day when I opened my case and was about to take the GPU out. I hadn't touched it yet but when I loosened the thumb screws on the GPU to take it out because I was going to put everything in a new case, take the thumb screws off, go down to push the latch with my thumb... ******* thing just fell right off with no effort so it was clearly already broken. I'll probably RMA the motherboard right before the warranty expires for it.
