Bear in mind this year NV is putting Kepler in legacy status.

edit: I should've read harder. It's only mobile Kepler. But if that's the case, then desktop Kepler isn't too far behind.

I wouldn't pay more then $130 for a used 1060. Because you can get an RX580 for around $170 new. Which is on par with a 1060.

If you were thinking to spend double to buy two (so say $260) I would put that towards a used 1070 or 1080. Huge jump in performance and lower electricity use

If you have any use for FP64 at 1:3 that card still has good performance compared to the mostly gimped consumer GPUs these days.

I'm not super worried about power consumption. Yeah, I hear that. That's how the 760's I have now are. When both are used it's great, but with only one it's noticeable.

Didn't think of that, but very good point.

Oh no, $150-175 would be for two Titan Black's.

Unfortunately I don't. This rig will be 100% just for benching / gaming.

I think I'm going to offer $100 for the pair of Titans and wee where it goes. Realistically I doubt he'll take $100 but you never know lol.

Eh, I never got into mining. But I'm not sure with the power consumption that I wouldn't even make anything lol.

Not sure if you went with them or not but $150-175 is a steal for 2 Kepler Titans, they're worth ~$200 each on Ebay
