1080TI to Gtx 2080

I was thinking of selling my MSI 1080 TI for a Asus 2080 card. I am currently at 3440x1440 100HZ Gsync monitor. I can pretty much pick up the 2080 for $100 out of pocket once I sell my 1080 ti to my buddy. Is it worth it at all? Forget a 2080ti they are going for like $1500 so no way on that...

I don't think so but if you look at some benchmarks you can see if it's worth it to you.

i went from 1070 to 2080 n was utterly disappointing, so much so I got used 1080 TIs instead.

you're quite literally side grading. Don't buy into the RTX hype.

I'm holding onto my 1080 TIs until the next consoles hit. It's all gonna be a snooze fest until then.
