3-4 months should be fine, half a year has a high chance of being not safe.

Not the Titan RTX. meaning it doesn't seem to have these problems from what can be noted on the net. Except for probably very few cases. That's almost OT for this thread because the price of it is so crazy if bought for gaming that it's not practical for many to own. Going a little further OT bad spellers have still gone on to be the President, unfortunately.

90% of dying cards have Micron chips on them. Most of the newer cards are equipped with Samsung which by the way overclock way more consistently.

First, I hope the OP gets the RMA sorted quickly !

Second, the 'Micron' rumor is a bit misleading, as all initial 2080 RTX cards had Micron, including non Ti 2080s, the latter w/o issues... so when another problem (likely a weak batch of solder / SMT points) crept up with some 2080 Ti, Micron got the finger-pointing treatment. Here's a good article on it from Techspot, with other subsequent sources available https://www.techspot.com/news/77445-...-ti-cards.html

I know we all weary about gpu's dieing but I too find it extremely annoying when reading through the threads and 30% of it makes absolutely no sense so I have to side with the grammar nazi on this one

This has been proven to be untrue. Check the 2080ti thread for more details.
