RTX Cards are still Dying: Update

I picked up an MSI Duke 2080 RTX a little over 3 weeks ago from New Egg. \

I was aware of the cards issues but figured things had settled and the kinks worked out by now.

I am not a hard core gamer so I am not push this thing, No Overclock, but I do monitor tempts. Never seen it get above 72 while running heaven and usually way below while in use.

Anyway while playing metro exodus after 2 weeks, I started seeing flowing water get very pixellated. I persevered as I don't like to complain and the rest of the game was fine.

Suddenly today after a couple of games of world of tanks (hardly taxing the GPU) the entire screen is very blocky and pixellated, kinda half way to minecraft but not minecraft. I took a couple of screen shots but they look fine now that I reinstalled my MSI 1070.

OK, just wanted to do my due dilligence and let people know.

Happy Easter Guys.

FYI, "Dieing" is not an english word.
It's "dying".

Even in paint, "dieing" is not a word.

I disapprove of grammar nazi's

OP, time to contact MSI and ask them how they would confirm any issues. They may want you to run certain benchmarks or programs to further verify the card is toast, to speed up the process of replacement.

Nothing wrong with correcting a word that many teenagers misuse over and over.
"dieing" and "lieing" is what everyone keeps saying these days, and neither of these are even words.

There are better ways of telling someone that so dont be a grammar nazi
The second line in your post alone would have been fine

Wow...most of comments are about grammar nazi correctness and no one is giving two cents about the actual video card...lol....but I due agree with correct grammar...and most not correcting the issue is why so many today can’t spell worth a crap....

OP did MSI already approve RMA of your card? If so, what did they ask for when submitting your issue?

Well, I have some “skin in the game” sorta...have an EVGA RTX2080 Ultra Gaming coming to me and I’m going to see if it has issues as well. I weary about this RTX cards, and seller said it 3-4 months old...so not even sure if its “good” or not.
