Hey all!

I'm upgrading a system and have 12GB RAM atm.

I'm adding in a 1070 which has 8GB VRAM.

I'm doing 3D gpu rendering (no gaming) and a good rule of thumb is that you should have double the amount of RAM to VRAM.

My motherboard is the Asus P6TD deluxe which supports triple channel memory up to 24GB. This is the RAM I'd ideally get.

It's quite expensive and this is only meant to be a minor upgrade whilst I wait for Computex and starting a new build in a short while.

I'm not sure if the price is worth it or not... or if anyone else could find a triple channel kit that supports my mobo, even second hand, please let me know!

Thanks!

To be honest i dont think its worth it, its a lot of money for an upgrade you wont keep for very long
