I guess you don’t buy anything from Anheuser-Busch InBev, Luxottica, De Beers, YKK, I could go on naming all the current monopolies or near monopolies but I won’t.
Monopolies are a fact of life nowadays, your choice to go without is meaningless and only means you lose out.

What a bunch of hecking nonsense.

This is exactly the sort of thing that people complain about the media doing. Something happens and we immediately grab the pitchforks even though we don't really know why. So we have one video of misinformation and then a follow up video saying that it's his own fault but still being salty about it. Just apologize for stirring up a bunch of crap simply because you haven't figured out how to balance your budget yet. Also, a charge back for insufficient funds would be a new one to me, I've dealt with a lot of charge backs but never because of insufficient funds.

It's a little amusing how quickly everyone jumped on the lynch wagon. If this had been reported by a news outlet instead of a user (and it wasn't EA) there would have been a lot more skepticism.

It's a little amusing how quickly everyone jumped on the lynch wagon. If this had been reported by a news outlet instead of a user (and it wasn't EA) there would have been a lot more skepticism.
When the first season came out for APEX people were being banned because their bank was taking too long (sometimes only a day or two) to process payments for the currency to purchase the pass. Obviously the number of affected users was rather small, but that almost makes things worse because if you are the only one (of a select few) impacted by this chances are you aren't going to be able to get enough social media presence out there to cause enough of a hoopla for CS to treat you like a person and not mEAt.

Personally, I've never really had problems with EA/Origin CS but moreso the business practices and pricing schemes as a whole. I only eve buy things on EA that seem worth it to me, and that means not purchasing any slot machines loot crates etc.

Now as far as origin's quality of service for their app... its hit and miss sometimes. Uptime seems pretty good, and generally not super slow/buggy, but sometimes its completely broken, and their dedication to not allowing you to play your games offline is disappointing. We need more games that have a full (and good/fun/worthwhile) single player that compliments all this always-connected crap. I get it when games have a focus for online play, but developers should strive to deliver compelling single player as well.
