EA account closed for SLI fixes

So a mate who makes SLI fixes for games has had their EA Origin Access account closed on them.
I'm posting this as both a cautionary tale and to throw a bit of support behind the bloke. He's made many SLI fixes over the years that have helped me so I though it was the least I could do.
Would also lover to hear your thoughts on the issue and lack of SLI support these days.

Nothing is below EA the dumbest greediest and most incompetent game developer and publisher in the world
Why people still buy their games and support them is beyond me i stopping buying and playing their games after C&C 4 and that was in 2010

Ea does EA stuff.
Use Sli? Yeah we dont want that -> Ban. Topkek.

Thats a reason why some gamers sing the pirate song while installing EA games.....

Knew his Channel because i wanted Anthem in SLI and he creates really good videos. Its a shame

You have a choice no one is forcing you to buy their games even if they have a monopoly on sports games
Any company that has a monopoly on anything should automatically be a company you should not support

need to check dudes' fixes out.

most SLI "fixes" don't count as fixes, as NV ends up using the bits we discover in later driver updates.

the fact NVidia plays ball is disgusting. Reason #234563455345 why I only buy their products second hand now.

"CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?"

Actually, I can't. He mentions that EA's customer service is really bad, which is the exact opposite of my experience (one of the best I've encountered).

Considering his overall demeanor in his videos, his apparent egotistical discourse, and the fact that most of what he said makes no sense, the whole situation seems fishy.

It doesn't seem plausible to me that a company like EA would just go around closing accounts based on a single cashback instance. I'd more readily believe that to be the case if this were a more frequent occurrence or if the user in question had been problematic in the past.

Surely, this is not the first time cashbacks occur; we'd have heard of it by now.
