Question about flashing 2080ti FE on motherboard with PLX chip

I have a watercooled Founders 2080ti that I'm considering flashing with the Galax/KFA2 380w bios. I was prompted to chose my display adapter after performing the bios save commands in cmd prompt. Apparently, PLX chips show up as a display adapters in nvflash. My motherboard is an Asus X99-e WS.

When I type "nvflash64 --list" it shows display adapter 0 as the PLX chip and display adapter 1 as the 2080ti.

Am I understanding correctly that, bc of the PLX chip, in order to flash my 2080ti FE I will need to specify the correct display adapter?
nvflash64 --index=1 -6 new.rom

P.S. The Galax/KFA2 380w bios is re-named to "new.rom".
