What do you like more Ray Tracing in 1080p or playing games in 2k\4k? How about upscaled resolutions of 2k, 4k vs 1080 Ray Tracing? I can't find a comparison video, what do you all think?

1080p is 2k

I've never played with Ray Tracing so I'm blindly ignorant, lol, but I am absolutely a person that prefers resolution.

I'd rather have a 4k (2160p) high refresh than a lower resolution with ray tracing (as of now, none of the games I even play have it). That being said, settled with high refresh 1440p

RT isn't worth dropping settings for, but even if it was playing in windowed mode sucks and 1080p on a 1440p panel looks terrible. So 1440p.

I have yet to play any games with ray tracing features that I would use. Ray tracing isn't performance limited to 1080p like it was in the beginning but the effect it actually has on the looks of the game still isn't worth a performance hit, even 5fps seems like too much to give up for what you get in return with games like BFV where the effects are pretty pointless.

God rays and fancy fog (gameworks stuff) added more to games than ray tracing does (for now at least).
