2080Ti suddenly running at 1/100th what it should

Playing WoW Classic, all a sudden FPS went to 20. Clean driver install, comp restart, nothing fixed it. So I launched Witcher 3. 6FPS.

Unsure what to do here, it seems something broke in my card? This would be the 3rd time I've have to exchange my eVGA 2080Ti (the other 2 just flat out died).

My first EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC ULTRA did the same thing after a moderate OC. After I kept trying to reset to default setting and even reflashing BIOS it just went black screen and 100% fan speed. Nothing I could do but to exchange it.

Yup, just happened to me. Card is now completely dead after a cold reboot. Had to switch to onboard.

These cards don't last....

Damn, what is up with 2080Ti's? We all read about the "bad early batches", why are those things still happening ~one year after release?

At least eVGA is cross-shipping it with prepaid return shipping. However, I have no hope that this 4th 2080Ti will last any longer.

Yikes. How about selling the one you get back and going with a 2080S or something? Maybe you won't have the same issues?

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

I don't think it has to do with general 2080 ti, I think it has to do with these non FE models. Most of you will dislike what I say, but this is why I go with FE models to purchase aside that I don't really care for all the cool looking plastic all these sub-vendors pour into the cards, i've had nothing but good luck only with FE models and bad luck with after market models.
