1660 TI Standard vs OC BIOS?

On the ASUS Strix 1660 Ti is there any meaning full difference to the standard non-OC BIOS and the OC Bios cards? Aside from the base and boost clocks ofcourse.

Reason I ask is I have a standard Strix 1660 Ti and I feel like flashing the Strix 1660 Ti BIOS onto it. I know it can handle the clocks since I can overclock the card using Afterburner beyond the stock boost of the OC card, I'm just thinking it might be using a more aggressive power table or something.

they might have a more aggressive fan profile too, but otherwise it's probably just higher clocks.

the 1080 Ti and 2080 Ti have XOC BIOSes which come with the ability to raise the power target and voltage higher but the non-flagship cards generally have the same power slider and voltage limitations across the entire product stack regardless of vBIOS.

Well it has a higher board power limit according the the TPU vBIOS database.

Quote:
Board power limit
Target: 120.0 W
Limit: 144.0 W
Adj. Range: -42%, +20%
and this if for the OC model.

Quote:
Board power limit
Target: 130.0 W
Limit: 156.0 W
Adj. Range: -46%, +20%
EDIT: And in MSI AB I can only set the Power limit to 120% With a core and memory overclock I'm pinging off the 120 limit.

EDIT2: I flashed the Strix OC Bios found on TPU, and it did work. It was stable in 3D and I managed to match the overclock I did on the stock BIOS.

But this time I'm not pinging off the power limit anymore, and gained about 3 - 5 watts more power usage than stock. Then my peak power reached a little over 150W instead of 148W on the stock BIOS.

Now those are all good but for some reason the OC BIOS breaks browsers... Opera only shows black, and Chrome artifacts alot. I then tried the Strix Advance BIOS, same story. But every time I switch back to the stock BIOS it fixes it.

So does that mean the Non-OC, Advance, and OC PCB is slightly different for that to happen? Or is it the fact I'm flashing the card in Windows? I can't seem to get NVFLASH working in a bootable DOS at all, unless I use a older version that doesn't support Turing?
