Annoying bug with nvidia control panel and windows 10...

Howdy.

I've just switched to windows 10 (I know I'm late, I just couldn't bear to give up Vista )

Anyways...
I've got colour settings adjusted in nvidia control panel (brightness and gamma) which gets applied on log in after a reboot...

But after my monitor has gone to sleep after 15 minutes, when I wake it up the brightness and gamma (and all colour settings in the #2 box) have been reset to default...at least the brightness and gamma etc have changed but nvidia control panel shows the settings I made...and reverts to them when i click on anything in that box...

The #3 options like digital vibrance don't seem to be affected.

Any ideas?
Thanks

By the way if you dont like the layout of Windows 10 (like i do) you can download Classic Shell and Oldnewexplorer which will make the start menu and the folder layout like Windows Vista or like Windows XP or 7

Wasn't classic shell development shelved a couple of years ago?

Windows explorer isn't too bad to be honest. And I'm probably going to use start10 (it's not bad at all, installed it for a few other people)...I'm one of those weird people who regularly use the start menu

Classic Shell is still alive but now it's called Open Shell Menu.

What i would really like it instead is Windows 7 search. Windows 10 can't find anything and no it doesn't matter if you index every folder it just won't.

you're still having these issues? I only see them on a fresh deployment now. 2-3 restarts later, and its working well enough.

you know what I really wanna do? Build a win98 gaming masterpiece. I've had a serious hankering for some old titles recently. Like the Black & White series.

you'd then be surprised by how many people have no clue wth the "windows button" is, or the fact you can simply hit it/click it, then start typing to search.

windows has been doing this for easily 15 years now, and yet some how these windbags that're life-long office rats haven't a clue.
