Pushing 1660ti to the Limit

Hey there!

I currently have a 1660ti at +1500 memory and +188 on core and attempting to get +194/+202 stable so I can take the top 3dmark score. I just repasted but beforehand I was getting load temperatures around 40-50c and I'm trying to get them below 40c for stability.

Does anyone know of how to increase memory past +1500, maybe an unlocked BIOS? The memory can definitely be pushed past +1500 if there wasn't a limit. Also I was looking at doing a shunt mod to increase power limit but will do a modded BIOS first if I can find one/anyone can recommend one. Currently it is at +125%. For reference, it is a Gigabyte 1660ti.

Some BIOS editing software would be fun to play with since I have several spare GPU's incase I have to reflash.

BIOS is locked, short of the XOC vBIOS on the 1080 Ti or 2080 Ti you're not going to be able modify it in anyway (and the XOC BIOS doesn't unlock anything either, it just replaces the vBIOS).

Get a 900 series or older if you want to mod the BIOS.

Definitely locked. I flashed it with a Gigabyte 1660ti bios with a +43% power limit and was still locked to +125% effectively. I did manage to snag the top 3dMark overall score for 1660ti's https://www.3dmark.com/search#/?mode...0Ti&gpuCount=0

I have the same question too, how to go beyond +1500MHz Mem? I think earlier i had longer slide in MSI afterburner and I could go close to +2000MHz.

Hi,
Not bad I guess for a 300.us+- card 1080ti gets about 11k but it's a 700.us card when first released now though runs about 5-600.us+-
