How to test RTX 2080 TI FE stability ?

Got the RTX 2080 TI FE in April 2019.

Read that the early badges of the card from 2018 had an unusual high failor rate.

Is there a common way to test the stability of the card?

Background:
The other parts of the new build are comming in now. So, assambly will start soon. Want to test the card in the new build before watercooling it (Nvidia rep said, that warrenty gets invalid if watercooled). Unfortunately can not test it in current PC because it is to old to support this card.

Usage will be GPU processing (rendering, simulation etc.).
If games are the only known way to test stability, which one would be good for that.
Have not played games in many years but liked first person shooters (Metro, Stalker) in the old days.

Thanks for help.

Those cards had high failure rate, not stability problems. The best stability test is FireStrike Ultra, but it won't tell you anything about the longevity of the card. Your best bet is to search for a physical indication, like maybe the older batches had a different die or memory chips. I'm not sure if this is indeed what happened with the 20 series, but it usually is like that.
