Nvidia 2080 TI warranty if under water ?

Hi,
got an RTX 2080 TI FE in April.
Now its time to build the PC.

Asked Nvidia via support chat if I have warranty if the card is under water.
They said they don't support water cooling, but they did not say they won't RMA in case of issues.

Because of the reported high number of "dead" 2080 TIs I am unsure what to do.

Had somebody here to RMA a 2080 TI FE to Nvidia and can say if she/he got a problem because Nvidia said it was openened and water cooled and therefore the warranty is void?

Put the card back to stock state(air cooler back on) and there won't be an issue. Don't need to mention you watercooled the card.

Got a confirmation via chat with Nividia that varranty remains valid if water cooling is used. Cool, now I can put all the parts together and only risk to drain if the card is one of the faulty ones.

a few manufacturers have amended their policies to not void due to blocks... I think someone confirmed MSI is one of the newest, along with NV & EVGA.

just gotta send it back w. the stock cooler.
