Worth it to SLI gtx 970 windforce?

So i don't have much of a budget to build a new pc, out of curiosity would it be worth it for me to buy another gtx970 windforce and SLI?? Would it be possible for me to play these newer games (escape from tarkov,CoD-Warzone etc.) Without it being a laggy mess? PC specs as follows.

8gb hyperx fury ram "ddr3?"
i5-4690k @ 3.50.
z97x gaming 5 mobo.
seasonic 100-240vac power supply
gtx 970 windforce.

tbh, probably better off trying to find a second hand 1070 or 1070ti, they're pretty cheap now

depends entirely on how much you spend on the card, and if the games you play have genuine SLI support or not. More times than not, hacked in support has major flaws people glaze over and rally behind pretending don't exist due to their sunk cost mental issues.

people also LOVE to ignore their GPUs chugging @ 50/50~55/55% usage. that's not how sli is supposed to work.

some random uploaded 4K SLI gameplay footage from Shadow of the Tomb Raider the other day and it was abysmal. idk how people can handle the hitching.

- yours truly, someone who's wasted a ton of time on SLI over the years.

hmm, 970s have that memory issue right? seems that would further mess with SLi, no proof though.

used market is gonna get hot here soon due to services industry completely bottoming out.

employers that stay open are eligable for tax money to the tune of = to month's payroll costs, for up to 3 months, if they stayed open.

my employer is getting a 15m check, but still fired 20% of the workforce on Friday, after filing for the money of course.

Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

you'll be so much better off buying a 1660ti . . .

2x gpu would send more cpu traffic than a GPU upgrade.

after more searching around i guess it would just be better to get a 1070 and more ddr3 i suppose. I'm not super confident in my decision but i think it's the right one?

definitely the gpu but ya might wanna look see about an i7 after getting the card. the ram, well i haven't played any game that uses more than 6GB but there are some . .somewhere.

techspot or someone did a vid and 16 has advantages over 8 but not much/many.

SLI is dead and nvidia knows it. Don't bother just save up sell the card you have and buy a 2060 or 2070 for a good price somewhere.
