260 pounds is about 560 australian

The conversion is 2.2 to the aussie dollar

So 260 pounds is 563.45 aussie .

Yea its not a cheap Card However the EVGA 8800gts 512 is $482

so for the Extra 18 dollars get the 9800gtx for me atleast.

That's about $450 US dollars.

Prices in the US are about $350 or so

Gosh we gets it cheapz herez.

That little E looking symbol is euros

That's $445 AUD

Listings in the UK are around £215 <- that's pounds.

That's around $467 AUD

Oh, and to clear it up:

$445 AUD = $410 USD
$467 AUD = $430 USD

The only reason i would go to America is to buy computer parts and Then leave straight away

Its the Import taxes which is the problem.
