WAs gonna suggest the 4770 for 109 but that card looks like a killer deal.

BTW. 4830 =/> 8800GT(9800GT) and 4850 =/> 9800GTX+(GTS250)

4770 is in between the 2 @ stock.

this looks like a good deal aswell

and if you wanted to go into the GTX260's performance tier you could get this

...and GTX260 core 216 performance bracket, here

......and GTX275/GTX280 and occasionally GTX285 performance bracket, here.

I think I'm leaning towards the 4770 right now. It seems like a great deal for the price and even though there are obviously no reviews yet, seems like it would run pretty cool being that is' 40nm and also only uses 80 watts.

It's between these two. Is it worth the extra $$ for the 250? Plus, I'd be getting COD WAW with it too which is good.

DAMMIT!! Too many choices!!!

This one looks awesome. Now even though the 4770 seems great, the 4850 is still the better card, correct?

Runs cool, free game, under $150.

barely - it's pretty much a 4850 and apparently the 4850 will be phased out

http://xbitlabs.com/articles/video/p...on-hd4770.html

i'd go with the 4770

i would go for that 4850 but then again, if you get the 4770, CF them. You should get good performance but am not sure how well games will play. I have never used Low end cards in CF. I know the 4830 is weak but when in CF, it beats the GTX260 and the HD4870 only just.

From the reviews it seems that the GTS 250 pulls a bit ahead of the 98GTX+ in some games, and their was one that could be had for $130 not too long ago. There was even a EVGA GTX 260 SP216 going for $170.

You know what?

FUGGIT!!!

I ordered it! And I went a little above my price range but WELL WORTH IT!!

And I got not one, but TWO Free games! (that makes me feel better, I got $100 worth of games)

Far Cry 2 (which I always wanted to play) and COD WAW (which I had for PS3, beat and traded in, but I kinda miss those screaming Japaneses).

Drum roll please...

XFX GX260NADBF GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

I figured I was going to get the 4770 since it was only $99 but then I started reading the comparisons and how I wouldn't be able to run all the games at full res and 60 FPS and I know that I would be pissed off and buy something else in a few months anyway. Then I started ***** footing around all the $139 - $149 cards and figured for another $30, I could get this sick card which can be massively overclocked (from what I read) and get 2 awesome games.

Ahhh, I can't wait to get this thing and play some Crysis!!!

Anyone want to buy my 8500GT? It's barely used, I probably have around 4 hours of gaming on it, if that.

Thanks for your help guys, now I need some help overclocking this bad boy.

Did you really think I was going to end up with ATI? We're in the NVIDIA section for Christ sakes!!
