I ordered it! And I went a little above my price range but WELL WORTH IT!!

And I got not one, but TWO Free games! (that makes me feel better, I got $100 worth of games)

Far Cry 2 (which I always wanted to play) and COD WAW (which I had for PS3, beat and traded in, but I kinda miss those screaming Japaneses).

Drum roll please...

XFX GX260NADBF GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

I figured I was going to get the 4770 since it was only $99 but then I started reading the comparisons and how I wouldn't be able to run all the games at full res and 60 FPS and I know that I would be pissed off and buy something else in a few months anyway. Then I started ***** footing around all the $139 - $149 cards and figured for another $30, I could get this sick card which can be massively overclocked (from what I read) and get 2 awesome games.

Ahhh, I can't wait to get this thing and play some Crysis!!!

Anyone want to buy my 8500GT? It's barely used, I probably have around 4 hours of gaming on it, if that.

Thanks for your help guys, now I need some help overclocking this bad boy.

Did you really think I was going to end up with ATI? We're in the NVIDIA section for Christ sakes!!

Oh definitely.

Wow, I am EXTREMELY happy with my choice after reading this review. I might not even OC it more than it already is. Hell, my display only runs at 1280x1024.

I hope Newegg was able to rush the shipment for me. If so, it should be here Friday.

Thanks again guys!

Lol once you OC your CPU to a good 3.0GHz, your only bottleneck will be your resolution.

Not the same thing.

GTS250 has a higher amount of SP's and can reach clocks that 9800GT's can't

There is a reason that video card is an open box.. It is not worth spitting on.. That ASUS Dark Knight is probably the one that I RMA'd two months ago and still looking for a new owner.. Pleease.. not the Dark Knight.

I like the 4850 that was suggested.

Nice pick. Even better core clock than the EVGA superlocked edition...666 . You'll be extremely impressed upping from your 8500.

That's a cool freebie deal too. I somehow managed to get a copy of FC2 inside card box, along with the advertised CODWAW in the shipping box. Too bad I wasted $50 on that game to begin with. Oh well, now I have a hard copy. Off to play some Cryostasis, just arrived today . Very cool concept.

GTS 250. I fricking love this thing and with an 8500GT (fancy that? I got a GTS 250 and a 8500GT. hah.) running next to it to take the load off from my other monitors, it runs 150% for the money. I have a cap set at 125fps for my games (Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty 5, FSX) and you'll NEVER see COD4 or COD5 change from that number. Ever! FSX is a different story...

Also; don't think that your CPU doesn't play a part in gaming. I had a Pentium D which I got up to 4.2GHz but it still bottlenecked heavily, and I got 80-90fps dips all across maps. I upgraded to an E8400, got it to 3.42GHz, and now I don't dip whatsoever.
