Hey guys, I just got my gtx 560 a couple days ago, and I'm loving it so far. However, it is a terrible overclocker. The stock vid for my 900mhz pre-overclock is 1.075v, and I can only take it up to about 940mhz before it starts becoming unstable.

Is this common or did I get a bum card?

You're a little bit unlucky I guess but my 580 can't even do 900 core with max voltage. Stock VID is 1082mV as well frown.gif

I wouldn't worry about it though, just grab another 560 later on if you want more performance.

Pretty lucky you don't have a 460.

Don't feel bad about a 560 @ 940MHz. smile.gif

I don't suppose it's too bad. I've seen people who can hit 1000MHz core with 1.087v, while I can't get it stable for the life of me with 1.1v.

Wow i thought mine was bad...i couldn't get 960/1920/2200 stable until 1.1v but i didn't like the temps so i'm stable with 950/1900/2150 @ 1.075v.
