the key from a refcard (110W, 1266MHz, 0 offset, 1150mV) would also be usefull, since i only have one of a reference 480 Black Edition from XFX (115W, 1328MHz, 0 offset, 1150mV):
PowerPlayTable_XFX480BE.zip 1k .zip file

I tried to change the PowerLimit via BIOS, but every change of BIOS causes instability of the card. I'm confused with this fact because of all my other cards was flashed perfectly.
The best cards for moding are REF cards with Samsung memory chips.

PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable is still very close to a biosmod. Only without the flashing and that signature driver thing.

found the voltage settings. same values as in the bios, polaris bios editor helped.
FF08 (65288) is for P7 state, P6 FF07.. search for 08 FF instead, and here we are, all values from 800 to max as found in polaris bios editor:

these^^ are the exact same values, the polaris bios editor would change.
example: 1200mV -> hex: 4B0 -> B0 04 instead of 08 FF (P7)
update: Voltage Control in Wattman has to be set to manual or use WattTool to set the voltage.

If u don't change this byte from 0F to 0B, memcontroller voltage will be the same as vcore.
Update: Pointer for IMC/VDDCI voltage, 50mV steps;

clocks for each p-state are found here.
1400MHz x100 -> 140000 (dec) -> 222E0 (hex) -> E0 22 02 (bytes)

TDC(A) and max power limit (W) is found here:

110A (hex:6E) TDC and 115W (hex:73) max power limit (XFX Black Ed.)
TDP (6E) is above the second 73.
6E 00 -> 110W TDP
00 00 ConfigurableTDP
6E 00 -> 110A TDC
73 00 -> 115W BatteryPowerLimit
73 00 -> 115W SmallPowerLimit
00 00 LowCACLeakage
00 00 HighCACLeakage
73 00 -> 115W MaximumPowerDeliveryLimit

vram clockrate, again x100:

200000 = 30D40 -> 40 0D 03

^^these values also can be found:
Update: some sort of cap, the pointer for IMC is found^^

1000 = 3E8 -> E8 03, followed by the frequencies.
30 75 ->7530 hex -> 30000 (300MHz x 100)

vram limit:

here 2300MHz
the 4 bytes before that is the max gpu clock..

Fan Settings

Temp Hysteresis: 3
min Temp: 40° x100 = 4000 -> FA0 -> A0 0F
med Temp: 65° x100 = 6500 -> 1964 -> 64 19
high Temp: 85° x100 = 8500 -> 2134 -> 34 21
min PWM: 20% x100 = 2000 -> 7D0 -> D0 07
med PWM: 40% x100 = 4000 -> FA0 -> A0 0F
high PWM: 60% x100 = 6000 -> 1770 -> 70 17
max Temp: 109° x100 = 10900 -> 2A94 -> 94 2A
max PWM: 100% -> 64
Sensitivity: 4836 -> 12E4 -> E4 12
target RPM: 2200 -> 898 -> 98 08
Acoustic Limit: 910MHz x100 = 91000 -> 16378 -> 78 63 01

34 -> 52 x100 -> 5200 max RPM of the fan
50 -> target temp
14 -> 20% min idle PWM

zero fan

01 / 00 -> activate / deactivate
3C -> stop temp
40 -> start temp

Hello to every one!
I am a newbie here. I fount your tool very useful, I use it to set my core and mem frequency and tried to downvolt p5-p7 instead of using voltage offset, but had no result, no matter what value I set in mV field.
I have Gigabyte RX 470 G1 4 Mb (Hynix), tried on win 8 (drivers 16.11.44) and win 10 (16.10.2)
Please help if you can! I would appreciate it!

XFX Radeon RX 470 RS Single 4.0 GB Mid Range (RX-470P4SFD5) - can't monitoring and any voltage seems didn't apply in any P0-P7. Power consumption also didn't change(by using external measure device).

Any suggestions?

I think that your gpu is using an NCP81022 controller instead of the IR3567B controller, and it isn't supported.

If it's using the NCP81022 controller, you will see in HWINFO64: GPU [#0] AMD Radeon RX 470: On Semi NCP81022 instead of IR3567B.

Yes, you are right. Saw this controller as planned features...will be waiting.

Also non reference rx 480 like my xfx rs, don't work with the vrm either. You can use hwinfo to see vrm info though. I can see temperatures, voltages, current in/out.

Unrelated to the question asked before, but would you mind telling me what RAM ICs does your XFX single fan have? And if you bought it recently? Thanks in advance. I'm thinking of getting one if they have Samsung ICs

i have my fans set to max 1730(i think its the default) but they are maxing out on one of my cards. the other card is normal. both under full load. am i doing something wrong here?

also, you can see the power states between the two cards are different under the GPU section. is this normal? they are the same cards.
