I'm thinking of selling my 980 and trading up to a 980Ti.

Just hope there is a waterblock made for it.

Although I waiting to see what AMD bring to the table as well. . .

It would be the full EK block I want if I go down the Ti route. wink.gif

Same as what's on my 980.

I was hoping the 980 blocks would be compatible but doesn't look like they are mad.gif

Wonder if SKHYNIX vs HYNIX is of any difference? I search Gigabyte support and it indicates that my 980G1 has SKHYNIX memory (F10 Bios)
Mine can oc SKHYNIX memory to 8000mhz no problem at all with the F10/F11 bios from Gigabyte (stock cooling)
With Max Unleashed the same 8000mhz on memory, I tweaked a little bit for mine and I have lower core clock but about the same or a little bit higher boost clock compared to my tweaking with Gigabyte F10/F11 bios @@
What do you think?

That makes sense, you shouldn't see any difference with memory O/C and your boost should be able to go higher using the custom BIOS.

SKHYNIX vs HYNIX are the same company but not sure if they changed the memory modules after the merge. SK stands for South Korea.

Just for curiosities sake, if you take the stock 980 version of this card and flash this BIOS to it WITHOUT doing any extra over-clocking after the BIOS is applied can you still take advantage of the extra core and boost clocks that are set by default in this modded BIOS? biggrin.gif

Appreciated your quick response smile.gif
I'm still on stock cooling so I just push a little bit and test at my own risk :v btw, super stable custom bios. Thank you very much.
My friend here has 980 ti G1 and it is pushing pretty high oc on stock cooling. Hope you will soon release a custom bios for it
