Pretty please WerePlug, we need this in our lives.

Here is a copy of "unlocked" Nvidia Reference BIOS for 980 ti other user sent me. Slider values are close to the original as possible, so by itself, this bios does not change anything. But if you have different manufacturer, it might be better for you to send me yours and I'll fix it

Werepug.. Wow. This is beyond what most people have ever done when it comes to modding bioses, certainly maxwell bioses as far as I've seen. I read this thread a few days ago, then lost it and have been feverishly trying to find it again ever since biggrin.gif I'm getting the 980ti Gaming 6g, and I will most likely be trying your bios to overcome the vdroop so many people are seeing. Thanks for all that work once again, this deserves more attention! +rep

Hey, thanks. Though obviously, the most credit goes to the dev of MBT, but no idea who that is. That is some prime reverse-engineering work, assuming that he is not an employee of nvidia or one of the partners and doesn't have the blueprints for the BIOS, because something like that surely exists. I just helped work-around an understandable quality-of-life mechanic, that became detrimental.

Wanna thank OP, Werepug, MBT creator and JD for your continued enthusiast level support. I understand where we as consumers want to maximize performance and from the opposite spectrum I also understand that software developers are given business requirements that might lead to "clock block". regardless I'm not happy. Whether or not I agree with their practices is irrelevant but it is what it is.

The BIOS works, no voltage or core drops, now this card is reliable and vastly more overclockable, thank you so much, I would be completely stuck without what you have done werepug! smile.gif

Hey do you mind me asking which model and manufacturer of card you tried this on?
