Now I see this type of performance over Vulkan and DX12, I feel like a fool.

I even sacrificed FreeSync for a 1070 just because I though it was the superior card because of its incredible efficiency, hopefully VEGA turns my 1070 into just a passing card, these DPC issues with Nvidia really got me disappointed., Pascal gotta be the buggiest Nvidia launch in history, 5 different issues happening at the same time and the noise is being kept to a minimum, if this happened to AMD the internet would be up roaring at full strenght

Yes

nvidia they do have great products but so do AMD but me personally dislike Nv as a company and this is gradually increasing year by year the problem is nvidia have this so called mind share ....
Nv have spent a fair bit of money re marketing with there so called features Gimpworks ect the list go's on
this to most peeps makes there products seem to look better than they really are hence charging more

before anybody shoots me down yes they have the better products as of now than amd but there prices are well a little high for what they really are ...

this is changing now

However i personally think in the next couple of years AMD a going to turn out stronger than Nvidia ..

I can not wait until i can purchase a decent card from AMD

Year by year i am starting to dislike nvidia as a company more n more

We shall see

What are the 5 issues?
  1. DP doesn't work with Vive
  2. Some DVI issue with fast refresh rate monitors?
  3. DPC latency from driver results in stutter

What is the rest? I'm looking at these new cards from any brand so I want to make informed decision knowing the issues of the products before buying.

Speaking of your 1070, why did you sell your 980 Ti and replace it with that?

I replaced a 290 with this 1070 on my ITX RIG, not a 980Ti, that'd be dumb.

I bought it from eBay, open box.

So what are the remaining 2 issues and what drivers fixed the DP and DVI issues? So I can check the driver change log for them. The stutter seems pretty common to me, they noticed it but no fix yet? Do they at least accept the cards back no questions asked for now? I doubt that.

I believe it is Pascal related.

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

The press uses whatever it can to manipulate the user base.

When you bash AMD, you basically qualify the purchase made by 75% of the discrete gpu market.

They take it and run with it as "proof" they bought a better product and tell everyone.
