Hi Guys, I recently purchased a Asus STRIX-GTX1070-8G-GAMING and I was wondering if anyone has the STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING bios they could share with me. From everything I can tell they look like the exact same card and the only difference is the bios.

Also is NVFlash working ok on the Pascal cards?

Here it is, I tried it on my non OC strix but it could not maintain the default clocks and would artifact or crash. Hopefully your card fares better. Please report your findings because I believe Asus is binning these cards.

Thanks whicker much appreciated.

I'll give it a try. Keeping my fingers crossed that my card will handle it ok.

Well so far so good, I've not had any artifacting or crashes. I've been testing it using both the "OC" and "gaming" profiles in Asus tweak software and both seem to run just fine.

I'll keep testing and report back if I have any issues. Thanks again for posting that.

No problem, glad its working for you. Have you tried a benchmark like 3dmark or heaven? Those really help test stability.

Hello OP,
I tried to do the same thing as you are on my Asus Rog Strix GTX 1070 -8G version. I get certificate not verified error.

I downloaded the latest software for BIOS bypass from here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2708/nvflash-5-287-x64-with-certificate-checks-bypassed

Also downloaded the BIOS from the post above :Asus_ 1070_Strix_OC_GP104_86.04.1E.00.21.zip

I followed the exactly like in the guide below
https://www.overclock.net/t/1523391/easy-nvflash-guide-with-pictures-for-gtx-970-980

I have windows 10 x64 enterprise edition

This is my cmd:

Also in case I get artifacts is there a way for me to go back to the original BIOS version?

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Try this version instead.
https://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2709/nvflash-5-292-0-for-windows

Back up your original bios using the nvflash tool or gpuz.

Thanks Whicker. I get the same error with this also. No luck. "PCI subsystem ID mismatch"

I was able to take the back up.
