Hi,
I know it's a weird combination, I don't know if anybody tested this yet.

My Accelero HD5870 is still in the box. Because the thermal tape for the RAM modules is NOT sticking at all, I'm waiting for some pads. Hopefully, my etailer will fix it for me!

also, we all know that the Accelero Extreme 5870 (5970 too I guess) are using crappy VRM sinks that aren't good enough.

did somebody here tried to use the Thermalright VRM-R4 cooler along with the Accelero???

.

Been doing research on this myself since I'm interested in paring the Accelero Xtreme Plus on my 5870, along with Thermalright VRM-R4:

And yes, Thermalright R4 does indeed fit with Accelero Xtreme, and probably AX Plus too. Found this thread on hardforum to support my claim: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1538063
