From CF 6970 to RTX 2060

Its been 10 years or more since I build my last computer and I've been slowly acquiring components, next purchase will the the GPU. Will I see a noticeable difference from CF 6970 to RTX 2060? For games like Witch 3 and more modern games at 1080P preferably maxed?

Thanks

I would wait for Navi. Its around the corner. To answer your quest, Yes 2060 is a big upgrade.

The RTX 2060 is about 160%-200% faster. It should play everything maxed out at 1080p.

It would be an extremely substantial upgrade. But if you are still rocking a core 2 quad or something the benifits wont be /as/ good.

Any thing current would be an upgrade but for the price of a 2060GTX you could go RX 570 8Gb and Free Sync display .
