RTX 2080 Higher core clocks but lower benchmarking scores?

I have an ROG Strix 2080 OC. Using afterburner, I typically run the card at between +95 to +115 on the core, which results in a peak of around 2115mhz, and settles around 2055mhz to 2070mhz once temps rise.

Wanting to see if I could push more out of the card, I started messing with the voltage graph in Afterburner. Using the trick of CTRL+L I locked the voltage at 1.093V. Benchmarks start at 2145mhz, and settle at 2115mhz.

All my benchmarking scores are consistently lower using the locked voltage and higher core clocks, far outside the margin of error, and I don't have any idea why this is.

No power limit is being hit
No thermal throttling
HWINFO and GPUZ show increased power consumption when applying the Locked Voltage overclock versus the normal overclock I normally use.

Any idea as to why I'm scoring lower with the higher clocks?

Are you pushing the memory OC higher as well or just the core OC?

If the software reporting is correct, and you're not hitting TDP or throttling for any reason, the only thing I would think is that lower scores are due to instability or error correction for the vram; or it's just a case of software misreporting either throttling or actual clocks.

I'm just pushing the core clock at the moment. Yes, I do run an OC on the GPU Memory, however, the results are always the same whether the memory is overclocked or not, makes no difference.
