Correct PSU cables for 2080ti? Pig Tail cables.

I have an MSI 2080ti Trio which needs x2 8 pin AND a 6 pin.

I have just purchased a Corsair 850x PSU with x3 pig tailed 8 pin PCI-E cables. (meaning one side of the cable is normal 8 pin and the other has 8 pin AND another 8 pin of the back of that)

My question is can I effectively use one of these cables to daisy chain the two 8 pins? Meaning I'd only use two cables from the PSU to power the 3 sets of pins on my GPU.

The power draw of the card is quoted 300w.

You can do anything you want as long as you won't change cables pinout, as in example, reverse up pins with down pins. Der8auer recently made a good video regarding PCI-E cables, using 2080Ti in furmark.

It's best to use a cable for each connector. Especially if you have cables with inbuilt capacitors. If you like to risk then yes it's possible to push the cables to their limit and use split cables and splitters etc. to only use 1 cable.

2080Ti may be quoted as 300W at default specs but easily pulls +50% OCed and allowed to.
