Not news but another one of those Youtube theorist.

This is why nVidia's cards cost more: https://www.digitaltrends.com/comput...hics-cards-ai/

/thread

nVidia now has millions of users with dedicated AI cores. There is much more planned than just DLSS. I'm sure Microsoft is also planning to utilize them with the next DirectX release using DirectML.

Why Graphics Cards Cost MORE than EVER... one word Greed. Nvidia jacked the prices up because they could and with no competition from AMD no one could stop them. Simple as that.

Well that's just one half of the equation. You can jack up prices sky high but it means fack all if the market doesn't accept those prices. So the consumers are just as much to blame. (well their need for instant gratification to be more specific)

One side is selling cards to three different markets. While the other one is using one of those markets to sell their new cards at a higher price.

technically consumer's issue is still greed, e.g. "i want something faster and it doesn't matter how much it costs."

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

The prices are rigged for ages on most duo even oligopolies, the only way to make them change prices down is to stop buying their overpriced products.

AMD and NV did this before and while they may have curbed down the official meetings it doesn't take a genius to communicate in this day and age privately securely or simply "cooperate" and price fix high along with the only other competition. When no one wants to lower price much and compete they both "win". You can look up game theory and how this stuff works on a more scientific level. Most of it ends as a non zero sum game.
