It does not have a free demo , thank you though for the helpful replies

If you'd be interested in trying other games or free benches demonstrating scaling with the 64 , feel free to post in the other thread i linked.

Most = 1080Ti - Beast! Hate I sold it.
Least = x800 - Passively cooled. Basically a hot turd.

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

Most liked - My OLD ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro. Those were highschool days and I wasn't allowed a TV in my room - so slapping that puppy in my old AMD K6-3 rig and could game, watch tv, and DVR all on my machine.

Least Liked - Radeon 7770 - it was only the 1GB version and was always so slow and buggy. Back then I was hardcore against team blue and green, so that was what I could afford. Guess it was still better than onboard.

did you ever try a fan on the x800? I had (and still have) an XFX Geforce 7950 passively cooled, that thing would easily shoot into the 90s under load.. BUT.. strap a 120mm fan to the radiator and it would never climb out of the 60s overclocked while being utterly silent -- regular geforce cards of that era used very small, obnoxiously loud fans... so I ended up having one of the most silent gaming rigs possible without water in that time period (just don't remind me about the 8800 coming out a few months later, making my purchase a complete joke performance wise)

I can confirm this.

a) Basically, AMD followed all the specifics Microsoft required for a driver, using standard WDDMs. Nvidia went a lot more creative with their approach. The difference is that AMD can get more stable performance for long time, while Nvidia optimizations will give you upper hand in specific games.

b) In my case its not "just a feeling". I read articles about drivers structure (on Windows Plattform) and was looking for tools to test performance and effectivity.
https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

The reports from LatencyMon are quite useful. The amount of time each driver or module uses, can be interpreted as "CPU time". Values there thus have impact on input lag and overall system responsiveness.

Its of course not a surprise that even drivers can be "better" and "worse" in terms of performance.

Is the Nvidia 200ns lag latencymon still a thing?

Least liked would have to be the 980 I picked up for folding. I was expecting great performance out of it, and all early indicators was that it would be pretty solid: but in my experience (And I could have gotten a lemon I admit), it really wasn't that much better, and some times worse, than my old OC'd/Modded Titan in gaming and folding.
for sure! GK110 is by far my favorite NV GPU of all time. Thanks to the folks that gained us access to the buck controller. 1.4v to FTW!

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.

Most liked: Reference HD 4850 512MB I got at launch for $190 CAD. Super powerful card coming from 7600GT and had great potential with Pencil Mod.
Least liked: Reference GTX 470 1280MB. I got this after having HD 5850 1GB @ 1GHz for 6 months. With was a strong recommendation from OCN and I did not spend extra money. In the end, GTX 470 @ 800MHz was slower, louder and hotter than HD 5850. I was most disappointed with OCN Nvidia fanboys at the times recommending GTX card because of "strong" tessellation performance.

I cant tell with newer cards... The ones I have examined was 1080ti with 4000ns and 960ti with 400ns. I dont know if it can be fixed by any setting.

My favorite GPU I've owned was the ATi Radeon 8500 since it worked perfectly. Never experienced any type of driver issues that annoyed me.

My least liked GPUs were my 5770s which I experienced random black screens that made my computer unstable. AMD finally fixed that issue 6 months after release but I didn't have the patience. Was a very frustrating setup that I sold both and got a GTX 470 which I was also happy with that I stuck with many nVidia cards until the Vega 64.
