GPU roadmap to the future?

When are AMD or Nvidia going to release a GPU that's 50% faster than my 1080Ti?

NV 7nm isn't coming in 2020, at least not the big boys. remember how Maxwell drop went? Expect this to be similar.

You'd probably get one today if AMD released something faster than the 2080 Ti.

as of today, the sites have people thinking they'll be driving 3080ti by June.

Has NV stopped its traditional Conference paper launch + small cards first thing? If Ampere is coming in June, then big ampere is coming for the holiday.
