RGB Fusion 2.0 - how to get my hands on a "newer" than new version? [beta/dev]

Hey there

I'm almost finished with my hyper RGB build, the only thing that's standing between me and completion is, that my Aorus RTX 2060 Super simply won't light up on Z390 Xtreme motherboard. It does without a glitch on X570 Xtreme, or I Wifi Pro.

Is there a source [e.g. like Matthew here on forums] of some developer/beta versions of RGB Fusion? I have the newest version, I'm unable to get my hands nor on older version, nor older version of Aorus Engine, etc.

Please advise

With kind regards

Here is a wild thought my dude. Maybe Gigabyte might be able to provide you with that info since, you know, they are the one who created/manage RGB Fusion? Just saying...

You don't say . I have 2 decade long experience with GA as a company and issues that weren't solved by me, or 3rd pty, were never solved by them. They're like incompetence incarnate.

Look smartasses. I'm buyin' crap from all the companies. And guess what. It's all crap. All have major downsides, so yeah, I keep buyin' it. Over and over and over. Why? Because there are literally NO alternatives. Asus is bad, MSi is bad, GA is bad, AsRock is bad, what's left? Nothing. QA/QC on all sides suck hairy balls and that's that.

most definitely true there, specially when shopping in the aRGB bling tier of products.

I'd say I return about 90% of tech purchases due to QA/being terrible.

this is why I get as much stuff from EVGA as possible. They've had a few bumps in the road with Turing, but their US based customer service more than makes up for any of these issues.

Amen to that brother, amen to that.

I love EVGA, had most of their Kingpin VGAs in the past, but...their design is so dull lately . I'm all about design for the past few years :/, they're really not going up with an era, which is a shame. Also their portfolio of motherboards is very thin.

I like building single brand rigs and EVGA just doesn't have enough in their portfolio to make something nice and flashy

They don't make a flashy looking kingpin because kingpin's are usually purchased for ln2 purposes. THough it is nice to see that there may be a market now for a new flashy kingpin ^^

So all aside, have you actually contacted Gigabyte to see if they have a beta/dev version?

Thank god I'm not as anal as you guys lol. While I have noticed a decline in QA/QC over the past decade, my return rate is NOWHERE NEAR close to 90% lol. It's actually quite simple:

I know what I'm buying and what to expect.
If I want the best, I buy the best.
I thoroughly research what I'm buying. This goes for almost everything. PC parts, electronics, cars, etc.

if a motherboard showed up with screws bouncing around in the board bag, would you return it? that was my most recent return for QA/QC.

5700XT went back because the side of it was scratched to shart, hinting at it being a unit someone tested and rejected.

AW3420 will not be going back, great monitor, aside from a tiny bit of corner glow bullshart
